Why do Atheists resent questions being asked in a religious forum, eg cosmological, or origins?

I'm sure they all have their own reasons. But before this thread becomes a Christian-bashing orgy (oops, too late!), I do feel that it must be pointed out that there are plenty of atheists who do the exact same thing. I think it's fascinating in its own way how we draw lines to divide ourselves based on differences that simply don't exist.

We like to say "Christians do this" or "atheists do that," but most of the time the behavior in question is a simple human behavior that is fundamentally the same whether it is being carried out by our opponents or our alleged allies. Yet we still draw lines and treat the imaginary "them" differently as if we think that their minds are wired according to different psychological/physiological principles as "us." Thus we see the infamous confirmation biases and double-standards.

Such is the world we live in. So frustrating, yet so interesting.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
