Why do black men get discriminated against more than any group in USA?

Fat people are discriminated against. Women who are less than fashion model perfect are discriminated against. Many immigrants like Mexicans, Hispanics, Asian people experience racism and are discriminated against.

Read some of the comments about the refugees from Syria and the Middle East. These people are escaping a war torn country to hope for a better life, where they are already experiencing discrimination in their new country. White men over 50 are discriminated against in the workplace--they are the most in danger of losing their jobs to younger, less costly, diverse new applicants.

Various religious denominations are discriminated against, like Muslims, Catholics, Jews, etc. Then there is the decades old conflict between Arabs, Israelis, Palestinians. So no, blacks are not the only group to experience racism and discrimination, they just tend to be very vocal when it seems another race did something to them, even though they have a double standard. Blacks can shoot and kill blacks and there are no riots about that.

Blacks can discriminate against whites and Asians, but you'll never have them admit that. Some blacks live with a constant chip on their shoulder instead of accepting the diversity that is America. Many people here are not the white people that enslaved their ancestors, yet the Oprah- types would have you believe anyone with white skin is responsible for slavery. My family were European immigrants who were refugees from World War II, we had nothing to do with slavery.

Our families were endangered themselves by war and came here for a better life. Everyone just needs to chill out on the race issue and realize we are all humans on the same planet. Humans that had been separated by geography over the centuries.

Now modern travel in about a half a century has eliminated the geographical divisions and mixed everyone together.

Discrimination and racism is an equal opportunity attitude. Women still experience discrimination and harassment even in the workplace. Back in 2011 a LMDC sergeant sexual harassed the female officers under him and jail nurses.

Director Bolton only demoted the officer back into the ranks. In 2014, The officer was discovered to having an inappropriate relationship with a female HIP inmate . While the investigation was going on, he resigned earlier in 2015.

I have not heard of an pending criminal charges but, If Director Bolton followed the h/r and metro policy of sexual harassment, he would had fired the officer back in 2011. Metro has a zero no tolerance policy on sexual harassment and work place violence per written policy. When I was at LMDC , in Dec 2010, I witness a supervisor yelling, screaming and chasing a female clerk out of the records office.

It has only been until 8/2015 that LMDC is investigating what this supervisor did since I went to my councilman and the local DA office with this in 2014. Metro h/r department knew about this back in 2011 but just threw the file in the drawer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
