I agree with you 98%. No one should ever hit someone who is in a weaker position than themselves. But when a girl knows a boy won't hit her back who's now in the weaker position?
A few years ago, my stepdaughter was hitting my son regularly for every little imagined slight because she knew he couldn't hit her back. Now we all know that girls shoot up before boys and at the time she was probably 6 inches taller and out weighed him by about 30 lbs. He never said a word for months because he was too embarrassed to say that a girl was hitting him.
Now in this circumstance, who's the one being abused? I told my son that he didn't ever, under any circumstances have to tolerate ANYONE hitting him. And if she ever raised her hand again, give her the warning...... "Go ahead, but remember who hit who first when I kick your ***".
There are hundreds of men out there being abused by women who think it's their right to hit and not get hit back. You don't really feel this is acceptable do you? Abuse happens both ways.
When we acknowledge that we'll all be better off.
No one should hit in regular life. However, this "no boys hit girls" rule made It hard for my daughter's martial arts training. Some of the boy were afraid to spar with her, especially when parents were yelling things like, "Be a gentleman!" or "be gentle!".
All the best.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
