Training in USA/Canada takes approximately 12 months - From ab intito, to commercial pilot and flight instructor - The training tuition might get close to $40,000 - In USA, your first job as pilot might be flight instructor - Expect low pay - You will need a second job to survive... In Canada, probably bush pilot - Consider the alternatives - Air Force/Navy ROTC, etc. College first, then after degree, getting pilot training (expensive) - If you dream major airlines, you will only be hired with high experience - And probably will be aged 32 to 35 or so - .
My friend is taking a three year course in the UK to get his commercial jet license, he used to be a Cessna pilot in Australia.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
