I think it is because restaurant pizza are fresh, rather than frozen. And if you make it at home, the cook is probably not an expert at making pizza. I think that there are other reasons like the ovens.
A oven must be very, very hot and I don't think the ovens in a house is quite that hot. These pizzas has to be cooked in a hurry, so it can be served in a very reasonable amount of time (fast food).

3 I have to disagree. I very seldom enjoy a pizza from a restaurant. Seems like they never put enough sauce on their pizzas for me, and usually the sauce is tasteless.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
