Because they secretly do not like Romney and want him to lose. Romney will not release his tax returns because he has something to hide. I can give you one example right off the back.

Did he list any income as CEO of Bain after 1999. Romney insists he wasn't CEO after 1999, but SEC document state that he is. The date is important because Bain was one of the pioneers of outsourcing jobs.
