No. I am a liberal but not "far left" as you put it. However, I don't see how that has anything to do with the question.
In my youth, I was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. I was attracted to sky diving but never made any but static-line jumps. I did have several friends including my best friend at the time who were sky divers.
I see no reason for anyone to make sky diving illegal for civilians or anyone else.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
