Why do conservatives think that liberals hate America?

Flag burners are from the left. When was the last time you saw a group from the right rioting, looting and burning flags..ummm, never. Wrong, Gen Lee, I don't hate America I just hate what's happening to it at the hands of the socialists in power.

That's change in November.

As much as I hate our government, I would never burn a flag. Why? Because the flag does not represent the government, it represents the country.

I do want to burn Washington D.C. to the ground with all the politicians in it. But that doesn't mean I hate my country or want to disrespect all Americans by burning the flag. One of the fundamental problems of liberals is that they can't get it into their heads that the government and the country are not the same thing.

No matter how evil our government is, the people and country as a whole are still great, and that is what the flag represents.

I don't necessary they "hate" America. I think it's they hate the way America is going. America is no longer a country and unless we get someone like Bernie Sanders in office, it will continue not to be. America is a business, it's bought off by corporations.

I don't even know why the Supreme Court made it fully okay for corporations to fund political campaigns, corporations aren't humans, they don't have that right. Since that happens people like Bush, and Trump (even though he says he doesn't, he does because he's made countless remarks about being "rich" in a reason to become President) are being bought off by corporations and they no longer serve the American people, they serve these corporations to get a quick buck. Now for Obama, like his Health Care program it was a GREAT idea.

BUT, he needed to let it known and have it passed that these Health Insurance Companies cannot deny people, charge more for them choosing there own Insurance, and basically having the federal government not let these Health Insurance Companies **** on us American citizens. So no Liberals don't hate American, hell Liberals are more for America than some Democrats( Liberals are not Democrats, they are both left-winged but Liberals go a little farther and are a little rougher).

The left, that's who you're talking about, as even the Founding Fathers were liberals, do, yes. They despise America as it was created and has evolved and, as Obama says, want to fundamentally change it into something that it was never intended to be, a collective. They even sell this false Utopia as 'the American way', as though that was ever the Founder's intent.

The founders were liberals espousing freedom, limited government and self determination, not an all controlling government ruling over a dependent population with feudal authority. THAT is what we fought a war to escape!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
