Why do creationists feel threatened by evolution (and science in general)?

Geology points to billions of years of rock and continent formation. Star formation, including that of our Sun is pretty well understood as having taken billions of years. Of course all that evidence could have been planted by a 'god' .

There are two stories of Genesis as well, in the same bible and they are not totally compatible.

There's no need to disprove that or any other "theory"; someone who supports a theory has the obligation of providing credible evidence for it. Biblical Creation has no such evidence despite thousands of years to come up with it. Evolution has volumes of credible evidence to support it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
