No one is denying climate change. Since the formation of the Earth, the Earth's climate has been in a constant state change. The Earth has experienced everything from a snowball Earth to a lush warm climate that gave rise to the Dinosaurs.
There have been 5 major ice ages and 5 mass extinctions that were a result of global climate change. Permian–Triassic extinction event was the worst in Earth history. Technically we are in an interglacial period of an Ice Age, during periods out of an Ice Age (like the Cretaceous Period) the Earth has no polar caps.
Just saying....
I agree, that Al Gore vastly overstated the circumstances. I also know, that man does contribute to the warming. What you need to understand it, the results are not all that bad, and by objectively looking at the data, it has been much worse.
This is a natural cycle of things. That's why the ice caps are diapering on mars as well (fact check if you don't believe me). The measures those in the climate "agenda" is not one for the benefit of mankind, but for the profit of a few.
It is a movement even further divulged in political and corporate gain than any cause I can think of recently, and many of the measures they wish to take would be funded from our tax dollars. Until you realize this, I suggest in the meantime you look for a legitimate threat like the deficit, the wars, the corruption in government or Manbearpig.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
