Wow...the uninformed people answering here! They don't have a clue what they are talking about. First a "Kilt" IS a "Skirt" by definition!
A kilt is just a particular kind of skirt that is usually tartan, hot, heavy, expensive and ugly in my opinion when there are plenty of skirt that work for guys. They also don't realize a guy wearing a skirt with guy clothes is NOT cross dressing trying to look like a woman. Skirts, like pants, are not gender specific like a bra.
Anyone can wear one and in fact in near 70% of the world skirts are an option for guys to wear. It is just the Western world that still carries the phobic tendencies left over from the Puritanical Victorian Era yet women with their more open minds broke the mold and adopted men's pants just 40 years or so ago and now look... that is about all they wear! Yet a skirt makes far more sense for the male anatomy than for a female so you have discovered something most males haven't.
For the "nay sayers" check these guys in skirts and notice one very important thing... They still look like guys just as women in pants still look like women: http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/vi... After seeing these guys skirts look about as natural as shorts so whats the big deal? The problem is in their heads as top fashion designers say there are no reasons for a man not to wear a skirt. Homophobic people and highly opinionated people with closed minds resist change to men's super boring boring wardrobe.
Sooo basically you are on the "future" and thus ahead of your time but not by much... www.utilikilts.com sells several million dollars worth of kilts (skirts) to real guys in the States each year and that is just one company of many. Skirt will be vogue for men soon and it take guys like you to help make it happen. There is another bonus to consider... Women generally find guys in skirts "intriguing" so you will get more action than the school jocks!
Another stupid comment in the answer is that they see a guy in a skirt as gay! Nothing can be further from that juvenile thought. Gays don't wear skirts period.
Ever see is a real gay wear a skirt? Didn't think so. Just seen on TV and in movies for an effect.
(We are not talking about drag queens TV's and cross dressers which are weirdos in the minority). So you can feel more macho in a skirt because you know many guys are afraid a skirt will somehow make them gay... talk about homophobia! Women (at least intelligent ones) will know you are a "Sexually Secure" guy not influenced by such phobias thus find you a better bet for a future relationship than some controlling redneck.
Make it part of your "style" and people will respect you for that and you don't need the homophobic people for friends anyway as they will soon be the minority. Here's some more thoughts below... So hats off to you and enjoy skirts as they are far more comfortable for male with no additional crotch seams and tubes of cloth over the legs. Once a guy has the guts to try on a mini skirt on a hot day instead of shorts he will be hooked and not go back to shorts!
The only skirt a guy can wear is a tartan kilt. Everything else looks gay.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
