For many, many,many years, it all revolved around the argument over States Rights. The issues changed but ultimately the backdrop or basis was rooted in States Rights. Much of that is true today but a far more sinister aspect has entered the picture...the advent of aggresssive socialistic idealogy in our society...a true cancer on our life.
The far left liberal is very much aligned here and sees no danger. Conservatives see a danger that runs to the very core values of America. To a large extend, this will be why as time goes on, the divide will be much greater. WB.
All politicians, political parties, and their supporters, are endowed with the same arrogance - 'I am right, you are wrong.
They are like the famous advert we had appearing in the UK, in the 70s, during a time of industrial unrest - a man in a boiler suit toe-to-toe with a man in a suit, but their heads were turned through 180 degrees.
No political faction, or religion for that matter, is absolutely right or absolutely wrong, the sooner politicians and religious leaders get that point, the better for us all.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
