You can teach a kid to play golf at any age. The earlier the better is what I say. Tiger Woods father taught him to play golf at 18 months old and look how he turned out.It is harder to teach the mechanics at an early age like that but if they golf that early that can get a natural feel for their golf swings which is the most important characteristic in golf that there is.
I would have to say in order for a kid to actually start learning and understanding the mechanics of golf they would have to be around 10 years old. I have seen several parents try to teach their kids at an earlier age but their mind wouldn't allow them stay as persistent as you need to be to fully learn the game of golf.As far as teaching a five year old about scoring in golf I would have to say that it would be almost impossible. There are several adults that can't even keep their own score in golf.
There are just too many holes and too many variables I think to teach a kid at that age. You could try by getting a score card from an actual course that tells you what par is for every hole and keep your score on the card and go from there to see if they would understand but other than that it would be really hard.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
