Why Do Moulds Grow On Concrete Floor Under The Beds? Can Mould Make A Family Sick?

Moulds can make people ill, particularly if they have breathing problems such as asthma. Moulds can be treated with sprays for this purpose or if the surface is suitable a weak bleach solution; although this will take the colour out of some surfaces. Moulds tend to flourish in areas of high humidty and poorly aired rooms.

Opening windows and increasing air flow can help. Also try not to allow steam to condense on surfaces in the home, i.e. Open windows when cooking, try to dry clothes outside.

Hope this helps.

The reason mold is probably growing under the could be from a lack of a vapor barrier under the concrete slab when it was first poured. Moisture is being allowed to penetrate the concrete from the ground underneath. Because the bed is there it is harder for humidity to escape and the area does not receive any foot traffic or disturbance.

You should clean these areas weekly with hot water and 10% chlorine bleach. You may also seal the concrete with a non water based sealer. If you choose to seal, remove the mold with bleach solution first.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
