Why do people advise others but themselves do not act according to their own given advise?

An outside perspective is often unattached to the situation, so they truly see the best advice/path. While you are reading a map, you can see the best path, but while driving it is easy to take the wrong turn.

I think it is because though we don't follow our own advise, we want to help others not make the mistakes we make. For some I think it is because they don't have the discipline to do what they know is the right thing but they hope that others will.

People advise others but themselves because (without quotes):.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
