Why do people believe humans came from apes, when the Bible clearly tells us our heritage?

I'm not going to wade through a giant conspiracy website. Just from the opening page, it's painfully obvious that the author doesn't understand the first thing about evolution. It starts with the claim that if life came about by chance, then God could have come about by chance.

The thing is... NO SCIENTIST ANYWHERE THINKS THAT LIFE IS JUST SOME RANDOM ACCIDENT. This is a creationist straw-man argument. Life formed through chemical processes - as a result of the natural laws of the universe.

It's no more random than two chemicals reacting in a test tube, or a dropped ball falling to the ground. More complex, certainly, but not random. Here is a resource, if you're willing to read a little: http://talkorigins.org/indexcc/list.html Like I said, your site is simply presenting and knocking down intentionally-wrong versions of evolution.

Their arguments have been debunked time and time again. I guarantee you that you won't find an argument that hasn't been listed in the site that I've linked to. If you have more questions, or you do happen to find an argument not listed there, then by all means, ask about it here or drop me an email.

You have to put in some effort here too, though. Too many people come here expecting us to teach them things that they don't want to learn anything about.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
