The Dem's took control of the Congress in Jan 07' and they started spending like there was no tomorrow, then it went downhill from there. They continued that up until Jan 2011 when the Republicans took control of the House and now the Dem's want to Raise the Debt Ceiling so they can continue to spend unconscionable amounts of money and print more money and the Republicans are saying NO! The economy fell due to a combination of Clinton's "No Documentation Loans" and the housing market collapsing under its weight and pulled Wall Street down with it due to the risks being spread out in the investment world with Liberals spending over the last 4 years.
The problem is the Left will point and blame instead of ever looking at the cold hard facts of their parties actions. They cry louder that is all!
All because of Bush tax cuts (and The Republicans favoring the rich) - Zero job creation under Bush. - Increased income disparity between classes - Deregulation of banks activities (partly responsible for market crash) - Paying for the Iraq war on the Credit Card. This all started with Reagan, and continues to be the rights beliefs.
Right after they cut taxes from 70% to 30% on the rich, the deficit got huge, and the national debt will never stop growing. If a republican president is next, it's still going to keep growing. Obama can't be blamed for these debts, it's all from the republicans actions and beliefs that they should "starve the best" intentionally racking up deficits through tax cutting and thus debts, so they can do what they're doing now, cut all spending by saying the nation can't afford it, when it can, the rich just don't pay their fair share in taxes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
