In return the bankers are left unregulated and can rely on the government to give them tax payers money if and when they need it. Tories privatise everything they can, their latest scam involves selling off the NHS.
Putting public services in the hands of private business people ensures ministers are well looked after in the form of donations and directorships for themselves and highly paid jobs for friends and family. The whole system is rotten to the core, it makes the rich richer while the poor face austerity.
