2. They have huge egos and think that people care about them.

4. No one told them that they are/aren't talented.
I think people go on reality shows for attention.
I agree to you. But I guess its all about fame, money and status..
I think the ease of it appeals to people... if you get on American Idol, you get instant face-time on national television. If you do well enough, you can even win a contract... it's all setup as a prize, maybe prizes are more motivating than paychecks that come from hard work...
Wouldn't U like being on the television and your Family enjoying your presence. But I agree sometimes it goes embarrassing but if one feels that he has the talent then its of course one of the great platforms to start on.

I work with the production team for Embarrassing Bodies and just wanted to clarify that people don't get paid to appear on the show. Contributors come on for a whole range of reasons, sometimes because they've struggled getting diagnosed, but often because they want to help others overcome their embarrassment and go and seek treatment.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
