I am an Orthodox Jew and we do not. We see the roles of men and women as very different but women are not treated like sub-humans at all. They are seen as having the most important job in Judaism, giving birth to and raising the children.
That is why they are not obligated with time bound Mitzvot. We are taught our roles are different but women are to be respected. In fact we are taught that their binah is greater than men's.
In fact, in times gone by, when most women were not even allowed to learn to read and write, Jewish women were literate. Torah lists many great women. So, we are seen as separate but equal.
For there to be 'abraham religions', as you so quaintly put it, there would have to be more than one version of judaism, which there isn't. Christianity is based on salvation mysteries and only uses jewish scripture as a mythological setting. Islam is a copy of christianity with the western pagan salvation elements mostly replaced with semitic pagan elements.
So you see, there is not a goup of religions that follow from the religion of abraham, there is only one, judaism, and it has about the best track record for treating women of all the established religions.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
