To answer those hard to find questions. The questions that I ask on here I can't find in a reference library. Instead, they are the things I typically talk about with my friends and want to know what a larger opinion is on the subject..

They don't have to do the research...& they don't have to leave the comfort of their home & PJ's! When you go to the library you have to wear clothes & speak to someone if you can't find the info you're looking for. Here, people can just type up a quetion, hit send & (if lucky) get 5 different percpectives on the answer they're looking for!

They get help finding books & web sites they can use to assist them further, too! I don't know an online reference or library that are going to answer some of the philosophical questions I've seen on here. Nor are they going to give their opinion on how to best do a school project, what to wear to a job interview & so on.

Most online referrence services provide just the basics: subject, author, simple questions answered...We have gotten into some pretty deep stuff on here & all the person had to do was ask us a question while we battle it out to give the best answer. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
