Loss of control, I imagine. Also, strong, successful women want to be viewed and treated as an intellectual equal--less like to worship and adore. If a man has a strong sense of identity and is smart, he is more likely to want a partner that matches those qualities. It's the same with the guy who doesn't feel that his masculinity is diminished by clearing the table and loading the dishwasher.

Because many men who like to appear strong are merely hiding behind a storefront. They've had it easy for centuries because all humans were taught men were superior so all they had to do is slip into their roles as men and bam, they were the boss. They didn't even have to try to please or understand women.
Men have been used to this double standard with women for so long, that the phenomenon of a strong, free thinking woman is almost a foreign creature to some of them. Men who are secure within themselves and emotionally healthy don't have a problem with strong women. Men who are are underdeveloped emotionally, and who have the egos passed down to them from the dark ages where men are men and women are pets, find it difficult to come to terms with a woman so threatening as one who feels herself equal.
We see many of these men in the Republican party. They are the ones who feel perfectly comfortable with taking away the rights for women to have control of her own body and health. They still have not accepted that men and women are innately equal.
Thank god there are strong, perceptive men who do understand this because the battle is far from over. Skylight 54 months ago.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
