If anyone bothered to research it....Obama did introduce his jobs bill in 2011 and 2012. It called for cuts in payroll taxes plus huge spending increases.....all to be paid for by jacking up taxes on the rich. Republicans have made it quite clear they will not raise taxes.....but would consider this bill if paid for by cutting spending in other areas (like Obamacare).
Libs refuse. And every attempt to pass pieces of this bill ran into the same fate. Dems want tax increases, Repub's want spending cuts.
So nothing is going to change until after the election, when the public makes it clear how they want the budget created. But also note that Republicans have passed over 30 bills that got nowhere in the Senate because Reid refuses to even let them come to a vote. We still do not have a budget proposal from the Dems.
The one time Obama submitted one couldn't even get support from his own party.
Repubs have blocked over 400 bills. The American Jobs Act, which they filibustered, was then split up into separate bills - all of which they filibustered, save one - the veteran’s bill (the optics would’ve been too bad on that one). The GOP is an embarrassment to this country.
Here’s another: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/collect... Here: http://hotair.com/headlines/archives/201... And: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra... You apparently didn’t do any research. They’re pretty easy to find. Obama, 2012.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
