Why do Republicans think that tax breaks provide jobs.?

Cisco is experiencing some problemes unique to Cisco regarding cloud computing and bad investments in consumer electronics. Don't generalize from one company. It makes you look stupid.

Incidentally, corporate tax rates today are the ones set by a Democrat House, a Democrat Senate, and a Democrat President.

Reagan proved long ago that "trickle down" economies do not work. The rich usually want to keep their trickles. Lowering the taxes to a 0 % would not be an incentive to create jobs.

People forget that the main purpose of a business is to MAKE money. It is not to be social services or an employment agency. They will only hire the minimum number of people necessary to get the job done regardless of what you lower the taxes to.

Saying the Bush tax cuts lead to job creation is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Cisco is just one more company that realizes that it can make more profit with less people and all the costs that come with less people. If you can get 500 people to do the work of 1000, then why employ 1000?

You have to seriously wonder sometimes if people have any concept of the actual accounting process and the ideal or profit and loss. I don't know about competition in too many markets but Cisco is doing the corporate "fat" trimming and will recreate itself into a more viable and less costly corporation. It all comes down to the principle that they are in business to make money, not to be your pal or your income.

They don't care about all that, just their bottom line or profit or loss. To make more money, they cut expenses. People are an expense and the more you cut, the more profit is made.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
