Yeah, people don't understand what "open-minded" actually means. It's the same thing that the paranormal believers do. They define "open-minded" as "accepting the supernatural/paranormal/spiritual claim that *I* think you should accept." "Open-minded" just means that you're willing to change your mind if someone presents evidence that proves you wrong.
That's all it means; it's a pretty simple definition. Someone who says "I believe what I believe and you will NEVER change my mind" is the exact opposite of open-minded.
Really the question is pointless atheists never going to stop arguing about how right they are there's no way to prove either one is right or wrong without leading to more things to argue about atheist will even ask 'who created God' well if someone could give them an answer (besides the correct answer that God has always existed) then someone else will say 'who created the creator of God?' its a never ending battle also by asking that question the atheist is saying that there is a God or else that question is pointless.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
