Why do some Christians think they bible is factual or in some cases a historical record?

He killed not only Abel, but all his billions of descendants that he would have begotten if he lived to have children. Did you know this great evil arose from the evil that was in Cain's heart? The same evil lurks in your heart when you hate others.

You are a murderer waiting to happen, and every murderer kills not only their victim, but every descendant that might be begotten through them. Did you know you have ancestors who were murderers? Did you know it was God who gave the command "You shall not murder"?

But I have good news for you: Jesus Christ IS risen from the dead, and He assures us one day all will be raised from the dead, and the just will enter into eternity in the Kingdom of God, and the guilty will undergo eternal punishment for the evil they did and would not repent of. Aren't you glad for that? Where will you be in that day?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
