Why do some libertarians insist on going for an authoritarian like Trump while whining about Obama and Bush who do the same thing as Trump?

I'm a registered Libertarian however I am not opposed to those things, in fact, I think we do need less government and more freedom. I don't like Santorum and will never support him because he is a racist, bigoted and hateful and most importantly, a sanctimonious person with archaic morals. I also believe we need to keep the church as far as possible away from the government and with Santorum's morals, if elected, we get just the opposite; Ban abortion, even for rape victims, ban gay marriage and with his mindset, probably execute gays.

The man even compared gay sex to bestiality. How can people support a candidate who openly bashes a large portion of people? I suppose the only people that support him are gay-bashers, rapists, racists and religious fanatics.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
