Why do some non-muslims believe that it is permitted for Muslims to kill the non-believers of Islam?

No you shouldn't go to jail but you shouldn't draw him. Just remember God is watching every single thing you do and if you draw one of His Prophet's dis-respectfully than you will be asked on the Day of Judgement. Getting in trouble with Allah (God) is worse that going to jail.

And it is dis-respectful because he is a Prophet of God. Allah created him for a specific reason just like He created you and me.Do we know what the Prophet looked like? There may be a description of them in the religious books but we can't draw them based off of that.

We don't know how they looked and we have no right to draw them esp. In a dis-respectful manner. How would you feel if someone did that to the Prophet of your religion?

I'm a muslim: Nobody should be killed for drawing Muhammad. I think the danish cartoonist was genuinely dumb for just angering random muslims. Don't get me wrong, in no way do I condone what those muslims did, but let's be honest here : He just angered muslims, that's what is cause was.

Why else do you think he drew Muhammad? To piss off radical muslims, he was successful and the Radical muslims flipped ****. Again, I don't condone what he did, but imagine if I painted my skin black and ran into a KKK meeting chanting how bad jesus was etc. And they murdered me, it would be retarded on their part, and my part.

If Muhammad is drawn in a respectful way it isn't offensive, Muslims do that all the time (look up Ummayad and Abbasid Muhammad art) he was depicted in art all the time. The only reasons why Muslims don't love drawing Muhammad is because they don't want people to worship him. In conclusion : Killing in the name of anything is retarded.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
