Why do the Client SIDE samples run with a .HTA but not with a .HTM file extension?

The reason is Security; (I recommend to NEVER place a . HTA file on your server) The problem is that when you open a . Htm file it uses the LOCAL security settings that CANNOT be changed; Microsoft has hard-coded these settings to restrict local files from causing harm to the clients systems.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
