Why do the Italians have such a difficult time keeping a government together? Since World War II, they've changed?

Since World War II, they've changed.... leaders no less than 61 times.....Number 62 is coming up! Some of them served in the job as many as 8 times, but none of them lasted very long.So, if you're thinking it's time for a change here - just remember, you could be in Italy where you can't tell the Prime Ministers without a scorecard. Probably because you can't get two Italians together without an argument. As an Italian when I was a child every get together ended up with people yelling at each other over nothing. Things like, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU ATE THE LAST SAUSAGE?"As for Berlusconi he has been in Italian Politics for over seventeen years.

I love Italy but when someone asked why I didn't stay and settle there, I remember saying I didn't think I could stand all the screaming. I was on a bus from Sienna to Montepulciano and the bus driver started screaming at a very middle class looking woman sitting near him. S hands were off the wheel as he reaved and screamed "Porka Madonna, Porka Madonna."

He stopped the bus and ordered out in the middle nowhere but still felt it necessary to get off the bus and scream in the road as she walked away. Then he got back into his seat and continued to scream and yell for quite some time. A friend used the bathroom on our way to the Alps and there was a bathroom concierge who handed him a paper towel.

Seeing others tip the guy, but not really understanding the currency values he apparently gave the guy a cheap tip. This was before the Euro. The concierge went berserk and wouldn't let him leave.My friend decided to play the tough guy - there really isn't physical encounters there -- so he started behaving as if he were mad, screaming back that he was an American and he was going to kill him.

The guy backed off an apologized. He just wanting a screaming match not a battle LOLThe scream in the streets, you can get a waiter who you can piss off by asking for salt which apparently insults the chef. And I was told repeatedly that it was much much much worse in southern Italy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
