Why do theists say atheism requires faith?

Atheism has very few requirements. It is one of the reasons it is so easy to pretend to be one. Thou shalt not get caught.

Thou shalt not seek God. Thou shalt only be good if someone else is bad. That pretty much gets you in the door and stamped approved.

There is negative and positive Atheism. One pretty much lines up with what you just said. The other makes no claim about creation or the beginning at all.

The concept of Atheism does not say anything about what things you DO believe. It only defines a specific set of things you do NOT believe, and says nothing about the rest. Atheism is word that defines a lack of a specific belief, not a club with joining "requirements".

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
