Because they are under the delusion that it will help themselves or the country. It won't. Obviously, they see Economics in it's most simplistic terms.
Or maybe they can only see it that way. Either way, they are wrong and hurting themselves and future generations, including their children, by advocating policies that put more of the nations wealth into the richest Americans.
People making $250,000 or more don't need to continue to receive a tax cut. They make enough money. I don't see these people complaining about having to pay more taxes.
I believe the rich are willing to pay more taxes to help the economy. So politicians should stop complaining about having the rich pay more taxes. These are difficult times, nothing like we've seen since 1930.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
