I think it's a mistake to have political conversations on Facebook. Do it on here- but don't block people. You can't start a conversation and then just arbitrarily being unwilling to listen to the responses.
Have said that, the quotes in that excerpt are so ungrammatical that I would block the people just because I couldn't bear their mangling of the language! And it's hard to have respect for the opinions of people who show their lack of education that way.
Well, fact of the matter is...........more than one of those incidents WERE in fact blown out of all proportion.......and in fact, it was the same "inciteful" videoes that actually *cleared* the cops when the videoes clearly showed that half the crap being said and claimed.............***wasn't*** true after all. Yes some cases were bad...........absolutely............and those cops should be punished......but in other cases..........you have to be fair. In that case of the guy on Staten Island.......Eric Garner.......the video CLEARLY showed, he was NOT "choked to Death", and he RELEASED the choke hold, the FIRST time he said "I can't breath".
He then rapidly says I can't breath like 5 or 6 more times ..........but it wasn't because of any choke hold. What ever other issues there were.............saying the cop "choked him to Death" wasn't accurate. The paramedic checked him, and he was BREATHING at that time.
You don't adminster CPR to someone BREATHING. He was still breathing when loaded into the ambulance. So I wouldn't block people outright, if they were being fair and simply pointing out the facts.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
