Ok. I hear you. If we are just some cosmic accident, then what's the point?
There's no purpose or meaning to life... and no hope if that's true. OR... there is a God. And there's a reason for you being here.
Here's how it goes: God made you with a void. A place inside of you reserved only for him. If you neglect your instinct to find him, a vacuum is created.
You will try to fill it with things, but nothing will satisfy. Chronic focus on self will create misery. Temporary distractions will give you relief, but not for long.
Ask Him to reveal himself to you. If there's no one 'out there' you won't get an answer anyway. If there is, then he has his reasons for putting you here.
The saddest thing that can happen to anyone is going to their grave never knowing why they were here to begin with.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
