Why do wifes get mad with husbands flicking the tv remote control?

Because sitting watching TV, and the channel keeps changing can drive one mad! He will be checking things out and I am doing something--I start to get into a story, and suddenly the channel changes and I have to tell him to put it back on. Why do men change channels constantly--what are they looking for?

I really don't know the answer to the question, since I haven't a wife,but I would fathom a guess - attention span.

Men tend to like to Hunt and Peck, often wanting to know all the choices before deciding upon one. Women tend to be more patient, deciding upon a choice based upon instinct and past experience. That's my answer anyway.

I think it also seems disrespectful. If he knows I enjoy something but decides to search through every available option, it seems like my opinion doesn't matter. It's a little thing, but it's certainly annoying.

Actually, it's my wife who likes to change the channel. But watching American Idol seems to make her stop flipping from one channel to another.

It's because men are to undecided and want to watch them all instead of focusing on one channel. Moreover, most of them are only concerned on the interesting parts of a show and will most likely skip those boring ones. And as we all know, those boring moments are the ones that builds up the entire story...

Women actually watch television. Men don't watch television, they want to know whats on tv, what they may be missing while they are watching television but they don't watch television.

Because they only like one chanel: the one that has the soap opera. So it is completely nonsense change channel for them!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
