Why do women say men should never hit a woman under any circumstances?

In my opinion it's not okay to hit anyone unless you are defending yourself from harm. If a woman has gone ape sh-- and is coming at you with a knife, please, defend yourself even if it means hitting her. The only problem is, the rest of society will believe her if she pulls the abuse card.

I hate when anyone use that excuse when they're in the wrong... don't PRETEND to be abused/raped/whatever. It seriously trivializes it imo. And I agree with KristinT.

Well, it's not really good to hit ANYONE in general but if you're in a pretty fvcked up situation, pretty much....Just hit them. You don't want to die, do you? No.

Well, the majority of you don't. Hopefully none of you reading this want to die or get injured in any way. If you're talking about that sexist rule about men not supposed to hit women, well, women are not supposed to hit men either.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
