As for his money; I had read several times that Michael was supposedly broke and actually owed $500 million. He was in debt and supposedly about to lose everything to debtors.

If that is true, how in the world could someone have killed him for his money? The only people I have ever thought of that would have killed him; his own family or maybe some of them. He was broke and the family was not getting any money from him.

He had agreed to joining the original family members of The Jackson Five, and do a tour with all of them, but he backed out of that to set up his own "come back" tour. I imagine the other brother's (and probably papa) were not happy about being left high and dry over that. And his antics over the years (the two charges against him for the little boys), all the flack over trying to buy the Elephant Man's remains, and many other things that made the news reports were to some in his family very very embarrassing.

Now with Michael dead, his family is getting all kinds of attention, and they can now use the fans' grief to make money, where as before, they were getting nothing. If they did decided to bury Michael at Neverland (even in a year or two) and open it up for fans to tour and see Michael's grave, they could become super rich.
