On eBay, you pay for the privilege of getting it displayed prominently. In addition, Amazon will let you list a lot of (non-illegal) items that eBay won't - that's worth something right there.

I don't know what the stats are on Ebay these days, but Amazon used to claim about 20 million users in their database. So you can anticipate that if you have popular products, you will get sales.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
