Why does Earth revolve around the sun?

Because of gravity when considering the big bang theory when all the planets were made in this galaxy the sun has gravity and it pulls it around it on an axis but this has NEVER been proven anymore than the big bang theory has. This is why it is called a theory Biblical Theology supports an earth centric view meaning that the entire universe revolves around the earth making the earth the center of all creation This depends on what you choose to believe God or Science The truth is scientists haven't found out a perfect answer yet. Three laws of Newton and Kepler are not enough.

We don't know where gravity force is from, according to third law of Newton, fact the distance between The Earth and The Sun should be Zero. We don't know why solar system is flat like a surface, why is not it like a Bohr atom diagram? We need more acknowledge and testing, it requires time......however we may never know the answer since we can't stand outside the universe.

There has already been a huge amount of testing and none of them have been successful in proving the earth moves around the Sun Heliocentric means "sun-centered", or the current way astronomers look at our solar system just hasn't ever been proven However for 1500 years people believed in the GEOCENTRIC model proposed first by Ptolemy who lived in Alexandria around AD 130. Aristotle from 384 -322 BC supported this in Western thought and this was generally accepted especially by Christendom. Copernicus and Galileo promoted the heliocentric model under controversy in the trial of Galileo.

The Catholic church may have been correct on this specific point The Copernican idea gradually broke the back of the Bible as Authoritative. Martin Luther supported Geocentricity based on Genesis 19:23. Over time this and other theories were put forward and gradually even the Catholic Church apologized to Galileo on this.

However, there is still no scientific proof that the earth is moving around the sun. All you have to do is really dig and you will find that this still isn't proven. The Michelson Morley Experiment at now Case Western tried to prove that the earth is moving around the sun.

However the experiment was a complete failure and no evidence was ever found that the earth was moving and this sent Physics into a spin. This continued to be tested for years but none of these experimental failures are not taught in Universities because of the generally accepted idea of Evolution. In 1905 Albert Einstein was looked upon as the savior of heliocentric theory and its over 200 failed experiments.

However his theory only added more fuel to the fire. He felt both views could be acceptable but Hoyle said there just isn't any way to say either way was right or wrong Dr. Bouw (Astronomer) however tried to put an end to the discussion in his statement. "........... Again once more for the record, it has been shown at least six different ways this century alone that the equations and physics used by NASA to launch satellites are identical to the equations from a geocentric universe.

Thus, if the space program is proof of anything, it proves geocentricity and disproves heliocentrism Dr. Neville Jones (Physicist) We feel no motion of the World on which we all live. Furthermore, no experiment in all physics has ever demonstrated that the World moves around the Sun, or that it rotates on an axis. From the standpoint of our senses, therefore, it seems simply common sense to attribute the motion of the Sun, Moon, planets and stars to those objects themselves, rather than to some multi-component, contorted movement of the World.

Certainly, to a good approximation, the stars appear to go around us as if they are each attached to the inner surface of a huge celestial sphere which is itself rotating above our heads from east to west on a celestial north-south polar axis. In other words the universal kind of carries everything around the earth like water going around you if you were in the center of a swimming pool Most people like Carl Sagan just choose one or the other. Today Science is just divided and most text books just as with most theories teach the theories as fact The question as to if it is the sun or the earth that moves just can't be proven by Science because we can't stand on a stationary island outside the universe and observe what happens.

Only a celestial being could do this So....... Earth is really very special and unique. Be careful what you choose to believe. Examine it to the best of your ability yourself and you will shock yourself.

Science will disappoint you more than you may believe.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
