Fire-Bellied Toads cannot climb walls, nor can any other variety of toad. The most likely reason for how this guy could climb walls at a pet store is that they didn't clean the class well enough, so he was able to climb up using dirty spots on the wall as traction. Spot-cleaning your tank removes lots of those dirty spots and reduces the ability to "climb."
In order to stimulate more activity in terms of climbing, you can put some climbing pieces of wood in. Grapevine wood is pretty good because it comes in various articulations and no one piece is alike, but just like most other woods, it will start growing mold which tends to be bad after a certain point. In an overall sense, neither frogs or toads move very much once they're acclimated to the tank.
There's no reason to move very much if there's no food and you're comfortable, so they aren't real active animals. Even getting a larger tank will only stimulate increased activity for about a few days and then they'll settle down again. Any animal in a tank will always try to get out, so the toad is trying to find some skinny crevice he thinks he can fit himself into to escape.
No diseases here.
That's a load of bull my one toad is sexually and physically active not sure ive ever seen him not try to climb up and hang of lid of tank always looking for a way out.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
