Why does my frigerator ice maker is suddenly making ice that tastes funky? Am I suppose to do something?

Check the filter. It probably needs to be replaced.

Maybe your fridge or freezer has something in it that is bad and it needs to be cleaned or it has the drawer under the fridge is dirty you know that one that everyone forgets too pull out and clean that lots of people forget that you may have to pull your fridge out to get to it and do not be surprised at all the goop and nasty stuff in it YUCK so icky and nasty and stinky be careful and take it outside to the garbage and hose it off and pour some baking soda and vinegar on it and let it soak and clean it off dry it well and replace it and do that once every three months and you should be good! .
