Why does Paul Ryan's GOP budget plan only target spending cuts for the poor and elderly?

The disturbing thing about the people vigorously defending Ryan's budget plan is that most are not wealthy and do not fall into the $250,000 level. The rich are able to fund ads and campaigns to sucker the general Republican electorate to go against their own benefit. It's sad how they are so easily swayed.

By the way, I do agree that Medicare and Medicaid need to be reformed to make it solvent. But it needs to be done in a way so that the most vulnerable people in our society are not devastated by it. Giving bigger tax breaks to the rich while fundamentally deconstructing Medicare is a travesty and a prime example of elected officials giving back to their donors.

If you robbed every fortune 500 company of everything they earn this year, rob every person of everything they earn over $250k a year, and rob every billionaire and close to billionaire in the country of everything they own....you still don't come up with $1.6 trillion dollars a year. Fail. If you like medicare and medicaid so much....maybe you should be working on taking obama's head.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
