Why does the Media only provide us with the Republican and Democrat parties, when there are more canidates?

Because most of the mainstream media hold far left views..

I used to be a person that slammed a certain political party. I will no longer do it. I encourage others here to do the same.

By slamming Republicans, Democrats, Obama, Bush, whoever... all you are doing is driving a larger divide between people that need to be uniting to create a system that is better than the one that is currently in place. The entire government, republicans and democrats alike, are crooked and untrustworthy. They are BOTH striving toward the same goal (a larger, more powerful government and weaker more dependent citizens) and calling it different things with different reasonings- ie.

We need more of your money for the war in Iraq or we need more money to encourage people to be more environmentally friendly, or we need more money to help the poor. They are all greedy power mongers! Those are all GREAT causes, but don't use our tax dollars for it!

Let the great people of this nation do it on their own. This country is an incredible one with citizens that WANT to make the world a better place. We are all being beat down to a place where soon, we will be unable to help anyone and only be struggling to get by.

People of this country- UNITE! Stop tearing each other apart- it's counterproductive and it doesn't work! You can't really believe that by calling Obama "Hitler", or by calling Bush a back country moron that you are going to change anything for the positive.

It won't! Vote this fall! I encourage you to research and look at all different perspectives, even those that are not what you would traditionally look at.

I really encourage you to look at the independents in your area. They won't be on TV as much and you won't see them being interviewed by the news very often, but seek them out! We must break this crazy cycle and system we are in!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
