Why does the world support the Tibetan freedom cause more than the Palestinian freedom cause?

Here are my thoughts. First of all, it is not clear to me that the world really cares about Tibetan freedom. While most Americans probably know where Israel and the Palestinian Territories are these days on a map, I highly doubt most Americans, or the world for that matter, have a clue where Tibet is.

Sadly, I think the average person cares as much about freedom in Tibet as (s)he does about peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo. To your point, however, world governments probably exploit the Tibetan conflict as a tool in political sparring with China. China is a world power that is rising.

Many nations would love to have a lever to use against it for any number of political, economic and military reasons. Tibet provides the public with one such lever. To your point, also, the Dalai Lama is a highly respected intellectual as well as political leader.

He is a man of peace. That resonates very well across the world. Second, the Palestinian Arab obsession with militance is viewed poorly by much of the world.

How is a peace abiding citizen of the world to feel any affinity with a Palestinian Arab national movement when its leaders are terrorists or former terrorrists who pocket their people’s money corruptly and spend what little is left on militant investments rather than on building social and economic infrastructure which could provide a foundation for a state--a movement whose leaders pride themselves on sending their prized youth, or future, wearing belts wired with massive explosives to murder innocent men, women, and children in Israel? Had Palestinian Arab leadership been able to think outside the box a little and implement non-violent protest methods as those espoused by the late Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr, of blessed memory, as many had encouraged it to do, the world would have flocked to its side.So, if the Palestinian Arab nationalist cause is suffering in world opinion, it has only its leadership to blame. How many decades can Palestinian Arabs continue to blame others for their plight without standing up and taking responsibility themselves?

Palestinian refugees of wars past remain citizenless in neighboring Arab countries. Oddly, the Palestinian Arabs who remained in Israel have full Israeli citizenship. Having said this, many nations in the world--and their populations--favor Palestinian Arabs over Israel.

Look at the actions of the United Nations General Assembly where each nation has a vote and where Israel is protected almost exclusively by the US. There are dozens of Arab and Islamic nations around the world which regularly vote against Israel in referendum after referendum. While France, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy are generally strong supporters of Israel, one need only look around in Europe to see the seething anti-Israel sentiment.

Whether this is a natural affinity for the Palestinians, a natural negative affinity for Israelis or Jews, or whether this is a side-effect of explosive Muslim and Arab population growth across Europe, I don’t know. But, Norway, Sweden, Great Britain, Belgium, Spain, etc. Are certainly not antagonistic to the Palestinian Arab cause. I am of course not acknowledging the legitimacy of the Palestinian nationalist movement--with or without the Islamism of Hamas (or I personally would like to see the Arabs in the Palestinian Territories surrounding Israel have the legitimacy of national status, whether through a new Palestinian Arab state or through one of the neighboring Arab states.

The Palestinian Arabs who live within the borders of Israel are full Israeli citizens with the rights that go along with them. They vote and elect Palestinian Arab Ministers to the Israeli Knesset (Parliament). Were a new Palestinian State to be created in the Territories, most Israeli Arabs would remain in Israel.(I am not citing chapter and verse of political polls taken in Israel; but, they exist).

But, statehood is something that is earned. Yes, it can be earned by the sword. But, it is helped along by building economic foundations for the state.

The Palestinian National Authority in the West Bank is starting to do this after decades of inaction. Its economy is reportedly booming. Gaza, on the other hand, is suffering not so much at Israel’s hands as Arab propagandists would have you believe, but rather at the hands of its corrupt and selfish Hamas leadership.

Its people want peace as much as any other. Its leadership, which refuses to recognize Israel or its right to exist, is devoted to replacing Israel on the map with an Islamic State with a capital in Jerusalem. Fortunately for Hamas, they play right into the hands of Iran’s Middle Eastern ambitions.

If one thing may tip the region toward peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis, it will be the centuries old hatred of the Arabs for the Iranians. I doubt non-Israeli Arabs will ever love Israel. But, they may form strategic alliances to try to keep Iran in check.

Many, who look at the situation in the Middle East superficially, see this conflict as a religious one. While religion has been exploited to mobilize support on both sides, this is not a religious conflict. It is a conflict over land.It is a conflict between ancient peoples.

Because the "Palesitinians" (Arabs) have all the freedom they want, already. All they must do is what anyone else would do: lay down their asinine war against Israel, stop insisting on having it all, and accept the land they have and work to develop it. The things they "suffer" are things they bring on themselves in the course of losing this war they keep picking with Israel, while also refusing to admit to themselves that they are losing that war.

The end of this attitude of theirs will be everyone dying and we won't have any more Arabs running around falsely claiming to be "Palestinians" (the Babylonians removed that particular ethnicity from the planet 2500 years ago. ) The Tibetans, on the other hand, were brutally invaded by the Communist Chinese because they could. There is--literally--no comparison between Tibetans and the Arabs wrongly calling themselves "Palestinians." .

Because the people who are suppressing the Palestinians own the press, movies & government behind the scenes world wide. What the people don't realize is, it is the same groups, that control the press, movies, publishing houses, governments from behind, and the banking systems, and broakerage houses, world wide that are suppressing specific people in different pockets world wide, but call themselves different names in each country. Psychiatrist, Bankers, and Priest of all religions are also in on this.

The tithes all go up to the top where we are PAYING them to suppress and control our thinking and us for thousands of years. Find a book, Psychiatry: The Men Behind written by two German Doctors who names names and shows how planned wars in each country is on a time table schedule for every country, so the defects (Goy, Gentiles, CROSSBREED Jews, any oppononents) can be eliminated under the cover of war. You may have to order it from Germany, and maybe they have an English translation for you.

That book spoke of a plan of how to eliminate the crossbreeds in Bosnia, Serbia before the war started. The war was almost exactly as the book predicted. The book also shows where their scheduled plan was to start a war in the year 2000 in the United States.

You then saw, just as they did in early Germany the bombings of railways, train stations and shopping centers, we have had the World trade center bombed twice, and the Murrah Building in Oklahoma. Notice the facial expressions of photos in the news as to how they want you to think of the person being reported on...if they are to be thought of positively, there is a beautiful smile glowing. If they want you to think bad, it is a weird half movement as the cameral catches them with off closed eyes, or perverted mouth as they are talking and the facial muscles are moving badly between words. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
