Why does your iguana try to run away whenever it gets a chance?

It runs whenever it gets the chance because it feels as if it is about to get hurt because if the iguana is a endangered species, then will feel as if it needs to go back from where it came from. Otherwise, it has to get used to the surroundings. Try to set up a background of its habitat so it will feel like its home and try giving it more water and food and always check on it.

If you see it lying on its back, Check if it is breathing because when it is hibernation time for Iguana, it is just merely just sleeping. Thanks for your question!
