Why doesn't Amazon remove items from your Wishlist or Shopping List once you put them in your cart or purchase them?

I click on an item I ordered at right at the top of the page it'll say - "Instant Order Update - You Ordered This Item on (Date)" - can't imagine why they don't remove those items from the Wishlist and Shopping Cart, not to mention don't have that flag at the top of the page.

Maybe they've stopped doing it and just keep it going for us "old-timers" who have been ordering from them since forever, but that really doesn't make any sense. Don't know why it doesn't show up when you order something if you've already ordered it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
