Why doesn't your narcissistic ex-partner ever ask how your sick parent is doing when they know what you are going through dealing with the illness?

If you'll think about it for a minute you should be able to figure out that one for yourself. To people who are narcissistic, everything is about them. If something ISN'T about them, why would they want to know about it and for that matter, why would they care.

It will just cause you anxiety if you continue to try to assign normal emotions to people who are that messed up. Answer Because they're narcissist's, that's why. If it's not about them.....they're busy, or at least exhibit all the signs of attention deficit disorder when you attempt to talk to them about something that isn't about them.

The sad reality, and one that is very hard to accept, it that these personality disorders really don't have the capability to care about anyone but themselves.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
