From my research on the topic, CCRs performance was far beyond sub-par in their opinion. When the Woodstock documentary was filmed on location, they requested not to have their footage shown. Bits and pieces of their performance can be seen on the directors cut/lost tapes additions to the documentary, but there isn't much footage of CCR at Woodstock at all.
They were in fact there though. Hope this helps.
I didn't know that they were there! Probably they weren't well known at that time, and their style of music wasn't nearly so "hippy trippy" as the more well known to have been there bands and solo artists.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
