Why door poor and middle class people vote for republicans?

Like you, I'm having difficult understanding why people who claim they are Republicans cannot comprehend the simple fact that Romney displays some sociopathic patterns that should be causing all sorts of warning bells to go off in people's minds. I keep wanting to plead with the voters to REMEMBER the FAILED GOP POLICIES (supply-side or upside-down-pyramid economics, deregulation, collusion with Wall Street and banksters...) and then ask them: "Do you really want more of the same policies that brought us the COLLAPSE of the savings and loan industry from Reagan/Bush-Bush/Quayle, that brought us the HOUSING/CREDIT MARKETS IMPLOSION that has cost millions of Americans their homes, or the FINANCIAL SYSTEM MELTDOWN in 2007-2008 that has caused GLOBAL ECONOMIC DAMAGES, including the DEPRESSION-like Great Recession from which we are slowly-but-steadily recovering, thanks to Democrats' and President Obama's wise nation-saving fiscal policies? I sure hope even Republicans begin to realize that President Obama is a whole lot better than the GOP's massive PROPAGANDA SPEWS would have us believe.

VOTE DEMOCRATS to SAVE THIS NATION! Romney is a corporate-raiding pet-abusing sociopath who has no empathy or compassion upon which to draw, and he can barely conceal his disdain for anyone not a billionaire.

I have decided rednecks must be proud of being poor and being ignorant too. Other states to the North that allow Labor Unions have an overall better quality of life. Remember too, Southern boys and men gave their lives in the Civil War to protect the rich plantation owner's means of getting an easy life.

I just say, GO FIGURE! Why is the white Southern mentality like that^!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
