The media which abdicated their role in vetting our last President, is actively promoting the liberal OWS while at the same time vilifying the TEA party. I really don't think anyone is buying it. This is symptomatic of a major disconnect the "thought shapers" have not yet fully realized the significance of...we won't be fooled again.
A new generation is getting their news from alternative sources, internet and such. This makes moves by the Obama Administration to "reign in the internet" that much more ominous. It will be presented as something needed to protect us all; it will be used to control access to information in much the same manner as the major networks use now.
Be vigilant people.
The Tea Party got big after Obama was elected although it started due to TARP while Bush was president. The Democrats wanted to play it that the Tea Party was a rejection of our first black president. That was obvious.
Also, the Tea Party could not base their beginnings on "harm done". It was based on the Constitution, low taxes, and small government. They wanted responsible fiscal policies but there was no pity party involved.
It was based in a rejection of government policies. Democrats must have a pity party. It took them 2 years to figure one out after Obama turned them against the rich 1% who supposedly don't pay enough taxes to cover the needs of the rest of the country so now they have the pitiful 99% who occupy our parks and ports to keep people from conducting their everyday business.
I believe the way they see it is that its ok to cheat because the 1% cheated them but got bailed out. They want large expansive government to take from the rich and maybe for Barnenke to print them up a few trillion.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
